Steven Ward

Steven is the Owner and Clinical Director of Nova Insight Counseling and a mental health therapist with a focus on both individuals  as well as relationship counseling.

Steven is curious about you. He aims to understand your thoughts and feelings, your strengths and struggles, and to hear your unique story. He views therapy as a collaborative journey, working together to find the right path to meet your goals. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, life stress, or are simply exploring therapy for the first time, he would be glad to talk.

Steven works with adult individuals and couples, offering both in-person and online video sessions. His sessions provide a non-judgmental, private space where clients can share, process, and explore their experiences.

He believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to wellness, so the goal is to find a unique fit for each individual. Steven draws from multiple evidence-based theories, with particular emphasis on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), narrative theory, person-centered therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These approaches help address needs comprehensively and compassionately, empowering clients to build a fulfilling life aligned with their values.
